 Birmingham IVC has a thriving badminton club. In the Summer months tennis is also played, and table tennis is also available.
Squash and “Try Dive” (scuba diving) is also available on a pre-arranged basis.
The club’s sports nights are held on Wednesday and Friday evenings, at the sports centre at King Edwards Girls School, Edgbaston Park Road - near Birmingham University.
Birmingham IVC has the use of four badminton courts, one of which is designated for expert players, two for intermediates, and one for beginners.
If you are absolutely new to the game, spare racquets are available, and coaching from a club member can be arranged.
There is no need to book in advance for badminton, tennis and table tennis. IVC members simply turn up on the night, book themselves in for a game, and pay at the end (at very reasonable prices).
