Prospective membership

To become a full member of Birmingham IVC, you first have to be over 18 years of age, and become a prospective member for three months. The cost of becoming a prospective member is £10. During your time as a prospective member, you will receive copies of the events bulletin for three months and be able to participate in any of the club’s events during that time. Prospective membership allows you to meet fellow members of the club and get a good insight into how the club works.

Passport to full membership

As a prospective member you will receive a “Passport” to full membership card This provides:

  • Full details on how to become a full member.
  • An event attendance record.
  • An application form for full membership.
  • Birmingham IVC code of conduct.
  • Names and photographs of the current committee.

Special voucher offer

If you attend six events and return your full membership application form within three months of issue, and your application is successful, you will receive a special £10 voucher. The voucher can be redeemed towards the cost of any weekend away with the club. This effectively means that you will have got your first three months prospective membership for free!

How to obtain your Passport

The best way to obtain your Passport is to come and meet us at a Club Night. On Wednesday evenings these are usually held at” Bennetts”, Bennett’s Hill, Birmingham City Centre from 8.30pm. We have a signposted section of the pub set aside for our sole use. On the last Wednesday of each month we hold a Special New Members Club Night at the Garden House, Hagley Road, Edgbaston. This night is specially dedicated to welcoming new and prospective members to the Club (please check the calendar for club night venue).
