Birmingham IVC has a very active and varied weekends away and holidays programme.
We stay in a variety of hostels, hotels, B&Bs and bunkhouses including such places as Wales, Derbyshire, Devon and Cornwall, the Lake District and Yorkshire. In addition to UK destinations, we have regular trips abroad including skiing and sailing holidays. During the last few years the club has organised trips to New York, Amsterdam, Bruges, Brussels and Prague.
The club also has an annual gourmet weekend and narrow boat trips. For New Year we have an annual hotel weekend in early January with dinner and dance (at very reasonable prices due to block booking). The venues for the last 5 years have been Sheffield, Cardiff, Leeds/Bradford, Windsor and Bristol.
In addition to our own weekends away, there are weekends away and other holidays organised by other IVC clubs around the country to which we are invited.
