Birmingham IVC has a very active and varied weekends away and holidays programme.

We stay in a variety of hostels, hotels, B&Bs and bunkhouses including such places as Wales, Derbyshire, Devon and Cornwall, the Lake District and Yorkshire. In addition to UK destinations, we have regular trips abroad including skiing and sailing holidays. During the last couple of years the club has organised trips to New York, Amsterdam, Bruges and Brussels.

The club also has an annual gourmet weekend and narrow boat trips. For New Year we have an annual hotel weekend in early January with dinner and dance (at very reasonable prices due to block booking). The last three years venues have been Leeds/Bradford, Windsor and Bristol. The 2009 New Year weekend will be held in the exciting city of Cardiff (see link on left).
